Strange Dash Panel Lighting Issues - Resolved 900

There are also a couple of posts from some other owners with this same issue that were never resolved. I thought I would make a post so that others may find it on a search campaign.

The issue was with a 1/2 (half) lit turn signal (slightly glowing), a reverse acting high beam light, and 1/2 lit fog panel lights. Also, no dash panel back lighting.

I disassembled the dash panel to reflow the solder for the fuel gage. While I had it out, I reflowed every joint on the panel. When I reassembled it, the weird lighting issue went away. I do not know if it was from reflowing the solder or from disconnecting and reconnecting the dash connectors.

Hope others will find this in their search. This issue has been haunting me for years.
