well some improvement but not a fix yet...

The car did not have any starting issues before the "new to me" engine ('94 from a 940 turbo...

I did replace the fuel pump and filter...i nicked the hose and had a little air leak on the hose out of the filter to the engine...I fixed that.

The Fuel Pressure regulator is fine...

But I'm still trying to start a fuel starved engine first thing in the morning...and having some hiccups after long (five/six hour) parking sessions.
