Problem with one of my new lower ball joints...? 120-130

I'm just coming to the end of a project to replace all my front end bushings and my lower ball joints. I have everything back together now, but one of my ball joints is giving me trouble. I can't get the break/hub assembly to "seat" down onto the tapered bolt of the ball/socket. When I try to tighten on the nylock nut provided, it just turns the ball/bolt in it's socket and will not tighten down any further for me. As it is, the end of the bolt is just barely flush with the nut, whereas on the other side the bolt end is sticking beyond the nut almost half an inch it looks like.

What can I do? Any ideas on how I can stop the bolt from turning so that just the nut will turn and go further down the bolt?

Hope this makes sense, thanks.
