cherry bomb doesn't bomb 200 1988

My IPD turbo muffler 2 and 1/4 exhaust blew out the front of the muffler awhile back, I lived with it, enjoying the raz-z-z-z-z-zer sound until last month.....so......got a thick gauge piece of tubing, crushed five detents at 90 degrees, connected the no muffler straight pipe, and presto, a sound something like a T-6 20 seconds after rotation.

Drivable with a very delicate foot on the throttle, around town....so....yesterday picked up a Cherry bomb, 2 1/4 to 2 1/4, no glass stuffing, about 14 inches long, pinched not welded, plumbed to appropriate length, and.......it sounds like stock!

Who'd a thunk it! A little reverse chambered muffler for 19.95, quiet, light weight, and simply simple. Should last a couple years.

That Fonos?/Walker muffler was stuffed with fiberglass, I mean stuffed! Later Dudettes.
