Idle problems after "warm' starts 700

My 740GL has developed an idle problem. When I start it in the garage in the morning when the engine is cool, the idle works fine (about 850 rpm). After driving around and re-starting the car when it's warm, it wants to quit, so I have to keep a little gas on it. After about 4 stoplights of doing this, the idle goes back to normal. Could this be an O2 sensor or airflow sensor problem? Before I start buying parts, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
