a/c 245 wagon 200 1989

I am just looking for any advice if you have any. First, i have a '89 245 wagon, 205k, gas, a/t, non-turbo. a/c compressor is shot, but no leaks ever, worked excellent until the compressor gave out. . A new one on the way (NEW-NOT a "reman" or "refurb") with a new drier and expansion valve. Will convert to r134a. my mechanic will do the remove and replace. Then on to have it all evacuated and charged. I feel it's under control but just asking any sugegstions. BTW all hoses look great. The mounting bushings will also be replaced. Wagon is in excellent shape, well maintained. Thank you ahead of time for your comments.
