Trim installation 120-130

Now that my car is back from the body shop the slow process of re-assembly has begun. Re-installing the door window channels, door glass and the door seals is very time consuming. But I have a few questions regarding the installation of the trim. I purchased new drip rail mouldings, should they slid onto the drip rail or should they just be pressed on ? Regarding the side trim mouldings, should the clips be installed into the car first and than slid the mouldings on, or should the clips be attached to the moulding and than pressed into the car ? Any advise and help regarding this will be appreciated. Thanks, Fred
