ACC Air Conditioning 700 1988

Here we go. I have posted this question to the mailing list and got a few different suggestions regarding my ACC air. I bought MIMI a couple of months ago and replaced the engine with an engine out of a 89 760. It has been running very well and the air was working quite well and blowing cool until it stopped coming out the dash vents, and only blows out the floor and side window vents. I am pretty sure that I connected the vacuum lines back the way they were, but I'm not sure about a valve in the back of the engine that is installed in the middle of a water hose that goes between the back of the engine and the firewall where there are 2 hoses. It has a fitting for a vacuum hose that goes somewhere. This valve seems not to be functioning on any mode of the ACC unit. Does that have anything to do with the problem I'm having? I understand that there are codes that flash from the a/c button when the car is started, but I don't get those either, which leads me to believe that there is a minor problem. The last resort for me is to get into the dash and see if there is a problem under there.

Thanks,
Rick
