Non mechanical problems 120-130 1967

A three car garage, 5 cars so one is in the driveway, a Jeep Wrangler buried in the back by 2 cars so it never gets run, and a nice white wagon that I use as a daily driver. Unfortunately, the DD is the 1967 220, which leaks oil from the engine and diff and does smell a bit after being driven.

My great and supporting wife, who refuses to ride in the 220, asked me when I was going to sell the 220 so that now home daughter can park in the garage. Ditto with the Jeep, which hasn't turned a wheel since last September.

I know the 220 is a money pit. A local garage offered to replace the clutch and RMS for a mere $1,000, parts included. A good body man offered to weld new steel on the right front and rear fenders and straighten a scrape from the doors for only $700 - no painting, just primer.

It could use new shocks, bushings in the rear, and a diff pinion seal. It does need new rubber around all of the windows and doors, it leaks like a sieve in the rain. But, then if I take all of the glass off, isn't it time to soda blast it and paint it California white?$?

The list is endless, but the car is fun to drive. Push on the throttle at 70 and it wants to go faster. It has more room in the back than a new XC70. It has vent windows!

So, my technical request to all of you:

I need help convincing my wife to keep C.A.'s car in the garage. Selling the very short Jeep will not make enough room in the garage for another car.
