A plug for Vinyl X 120-130

All of the vinyl and rubber parts were showing their 43 years of sun. The seats were hard, especially the rear, and the rubber was hard as plastic and brittle.

I thought I would give Vinyl X a try. Absolutely amazing! The seats now feel like leather, soft and flexible, even the top of the rear seat. It also cleaned the surface somewhat, so that it looks much better. No more kick marks on the door panels.

The rubber parts became flexible. Well, most of them anyway. The window scrapers are probably too far gone.

I used a small old wash cloth, to clean and apply. I even sprayed the mesh insert in the seats and rubbed off years of dirt. Let it dry and buff off the residue.

There is a little shine, so beware of the dash, but nothing like the god awful Armorall.

I found it by ordering it at the local ACE hardware, they also sell Lexol leather conditioner.
