Anyone out there installed the European headlamp wipers with your upgraded Euro-spec lights on your 86-93 US/CDN 240?

I have acquired a set of Euro headlamps (real Cibie's), turn signals and the headlamp wipers from a guy in Sweden. Got a great deal on the parts and I also got lucky with shipping since I had a colleague move to the US from Sweden whom I shipped my parts with, so I didn't pay anything for the shipping. :)

I have read tons of posts on the headlamp upgrade and feel ready to tackle this (thanks to Ryan R's site among others and Dan Stern's lighting site) but I haven't read anyone adding the wiper system. I have the 93 wiring diagram which I can follow but I am looking for anyone's personal experiences/pitfalls/best practices.
