Vent windows -confused 444-544

Hello Gents,
I'm struggling with tightening my vent windows because my '59 445 does not match up with what I see in my parts book! Specifically, my parts book shows an assembly that is screwed into the door, that can be unscrewed giving access to the vent window pin which can be tightened. The window assembly on my car is NOT screwed in - its welded in.
So, does anyone know how to access the vent window pin & how to tighten it, if the assembly cannot be reomved??
