Fixed first problem, now another 200 1986

"timing is 12BTDC (and oddly steady for the dreaded Chrysler ignition,"

Who "dreads" the Chrysler ignition? Surely not anyone who's owned a 240 so-equipped. I would call it one of the most trouble-free items on the mid-'81 thru '88 240. Even the white-cap Chrysler distributor from the first couple of years wasn't too bad. Some are still in use, based on posts here in the recent past.

You can test the tank pump by removing* fuse 4 and jumpering +12V to its right side terminal. Fuse 6 left side contact is a handy source of +12V, but ignore the fuse labeling. It's not in the fuel pump circuit or anything else on U.S. 240s. But fuses 6–10 always have available +12V from the battery on the left (input) side.

* Jumping +12V to fuse 4 leftside (with fuse 4 removed) will run the main pump.
