Vent windows -confused 444-544

Hello Eric,
Oh, that's why! :)
I have the door panel off & using a mirror & flashlight I can see the vent window post with the adjusting nut. When I try to use a socket wrench over the vent window post it hits the rear of the socket before I get down to the adjusting nut. Is there some kind of special tool I need to tighten this adjustinig nut?
Sorry for all the questions.
