Trunk lid swap? 200

Hey guys (and gals),

Does anyone know if trunk lids swap perfectly between the older and newer 240s?

More specifically, I am thinking about a repaint for my '93 sedan and I have a few dimples in the trunk lid. I could either have the dimples fixed, or I could swap on a clean trunk lid before the paint job for probably the same cost. Since I prefer the old-style "sunken" trunk lids versus the newer "domed" versions, I would happily swap on an older one rather than fix the one I've got.

Will they swap seamlessly?

I don't know what it is about the older ones, I think they look more Volvo, more classic.

Thanks,
Sean
