No more Bilstein wagon rear shocks 120-130

I have been looking all over for new rear shocks for my 67 220, specifically Bilstein. My wagon has Bilstein on all 4 corners, but I think they were put on a while back :>) probably in 1978.

My current shocks were made in 09/77 with the following number: 300104294. And they are a little soft, to say the least.

I contacted Bilstein and after a few emails from a very helpful Mr Larry Eckert, here is his last letter:

"Hi Klaus,
Ah yes, the 504300. That was discontinued many years ago. I did not dig deep enough. I went deeper into our older yellow books and found that we did list a 122 S Wagon 57-68. With this info, I checked the few pin to pin mount shocks that we make and the closest one is 4.8 inches longer than the 504300.

The front shock used is the same as the P1800 (B46-0283), still used today.

We just do not have a good option to offer any more.

Sorry for this.
Larry"

Klaus
