1990 Fuel pump removal 200 1990

I car cranks well but does not start. It ran fine and just died. I checked the fuses and even change the fuel pump relay. When I turn the ignition I do not hear the main pump priming at all. I am in the process of changing out my main fuel pump. I would like to know how difficult is it to remove and what tools are required? Do I need any special tools? Any pix will be of great help.

Thanks
