I need to change out the thermostat and just in case there is a problem I have a new housing to install and plan to use penetrating oil to prevent bolts from snapping. Just in case what would be the appropriate bolt size to keep on hand in case one snaps? low strength but metric, I would think. 1987 245 dl 5 speed.
