loss of radio, blinkers & AC while speedo & tach malfunction 700 1991

My 1991 volvo 740 has a list of symptoms that all happened at once: While driving, the radio, air conditioner & blinkers all stopped working while the speedometer and tachometer went wacky.(and possibly brake lights & headlights might also stop working but I'm unsure since it happened during daylight hrs both times) The engine doesn't seem to miss a beat during this and after continuing driving a couple miles it goes back to normal & everything works. This has happened twice now exactly the same both times. I found the answer on your site to the problem of speedo , tach and fuel gauge(my fuel gauge also stopped working recently) being related to the instrument cluster needing repair but I haven't been able to find any information that include ALL of my symptoms. Is it possible that the radio, air conditioner and blinker malfunction are also related to a problem with the instrument cluster?
