dented oil filter but engine mount was still good? 200

Went to change the oil today and found it nearly impossible to remove. Once it rotated some I could see it was dented in from the engine mount. So I had my good mount waiting since the last one was made in India and cheap. Once I got the mount off I couldn't find anything wrong with it. While on the car it looked a little misshaped but not much and I had about an inch of clearance from the filter. I guess it allowed the engine on big bumps to move enough to dent the filter. I've never seen such damage. It as a big too.

Also on a side note. I got some Techron fuel injection cleaner 2 for the price of 1 at Autozone. I've been dealing with clogged fuel filters for a while and bad idle. After two tanks of gas and two bottles of Techron my car has been idling much better. Before it would idle low 80% of the time. Down around the 3-400 rpm range. Now it settles at 800 and sometimes after freeway driving it settles around 900-1000 rpm. But it still dies the first time everyday and sometimes twice for the first 30 seconds. Still chasing it.
