UPDATE S90-V90

There's no high side on the 960/90 series, but it can be read with a Volvo Scan Tool.

At idle with the compressor on the low side system pressures should read between 25-45 psi.

The fan comes on when either the coolant temp is at a certain temperature or the pressure in the HVAC system reaches a certain pressure. When first turned on, the compressor will come and and few minutes later the fan should come on when the pressure reaches the preset psi.

The sensor down at the bottom of the condenser is the one that controls the fan speed for the HVAC operation.
