1991 940SE Intermittent Speedometer and ABS Light 900 1991

For the past few weeks, my speedometer has been working intermittently. One day it works, the next day it doesn't. Usually, on the days it does not work, the ABS light comes on too.

If I am understanding things, this car has a wheel speed sensor on each front wheel for the ABS and on in the rear (on the differential) for both the ABS and the speedometer.

I am thinking it may be the speed sensor in the differential, or the wiring to it. She has 242k on her, and has a few issues, but this is one I want to fix ASAP.

Does anyone have input or experience with these symptoms?
