Fuel Gauge Not Working 200 1992

I know I'm asking a lot of questions here lately, and I'm sorry if some of them are repetitive. But I'm also asking for a family member who has some issues with his 245. His fuel gauge is not working, and hasn't been for some time. His temperature gauge is ok. I was trying to help him with this a couple years ago, and I thought I remember seeing a bunch of posts on this very problem. Searching the archives now I come up with nothing. I thought it had something to do with the back of the cluster, a voltage regulator or something like that. But I can't recall. Sound familiar?
