Sounds like you are being monitored, could the Feds be on to you and your family, sleeper cell driving around in Volvos?.
You see this all the time in spy movies, reminds me of "Enemy of the State".
Static where it shouldn't be, caused by interference?

I wonder though if this is a harbinger of a future repair?

A bad fuel pump, fuel pump relay, altenator? Just guesses but, this event will eventually point to a problem, it is just the code needs to be broken to figure it out.

Were there any high voltage power lines in the area?
