Made it to Detroit, MI, have a new problem. Tapping sound under the car. 120-130 1966

Greetings all,

I've made it to Detroit, MI. However, a new problem has popped up on the 122.

A new noise has popped up that seems to be coming from the driveline area, directly under where the rear floor vents are. It sounds like something is clunking, but only when the car is moving.

It increases as the car picks up speed. Putting the car in neutral makes no difference in terms of the noise.

Putting my hand on the tranny tunnel, I can feel something very lightly tapping it.

The car has a m-41 (D-type Overdrive).

I've looked under the car and the driveline bolts don't seem loose. I don't know what else to check.

Any ideas?

And finally, is there anyone in Detroit that might be able to lend a hand, or might know a garage that can get the car in the air for me? (Beer from Portland, OR will be yours.)

Thanks guys!
