1994 940 Rear Wheel Bearing ......... 900 1994

Hi. I am considering buying a 1994 non turbo 940 sedan with just 156,000 miles. Test drove fine except for a noise from rear at speeds above 35mph. Sounded to be from passenger rear wheel side. The seller thought it probably just needs bearing replaced. Could this be so ? How expensive / hard to do of a job is this ? Also what else should I check out with this car ? I am very familiar with both 240 & 740 models owning one of each. By the way price is $1350 which seems fair enough. Thanks in advance for your feedback & advice. I might end up becoming a regular over here in 900 area.
