The jibberish posts

These made me curious so I looked at them a bit. I have come to believe that they may be highly dangerous.
I do IT/tech support, know a little, not really enough, but a little...
These posts always have some sort of url, which can be gotten to. I did that on a computer that could be sacrificed. And they appear to be innocuous video clips, kinda odd, stuff that you sort of shake your head at, as to why someone would bother to make a video of that. No, I didn't run the vid, just explored the page.
More research led to finding that the same page template is used for other odd sounding vids, in other chat rooms/forums, with comments that sounded similar, and over and over... it became clear that all these pages are completely fake, the supposed posters there and the comments are fake, and to what end? IMO, these are an attempt to directly post and to use google to get clicks on their 'videos', which are not really vids at all. The ones I saw offer codecs, which I believe would actually be a highly dangerous virus of a type that I've had to remove or overwrite several times lately.
