popping out of 3rd (85 245 m46) 200 1985

I seem to have finding issues..

So I replaced the OD fluid and test-drove it today. And along the way, my car seemed to pop out of 3rd (going from 2nd to 3rd). Well, not so much popped out of, as in didn't seem to go into it completely. And it also seemed to come out of 3rd really easy, almost like because it's not fully in gear, it's teetering on being engaged and not.

It only popped out (for lack of a better word) 3 times on a 20 mile round trip tonight. It felt more like either I screwed up the timing of the clutch/shift exchange, but I want to make sure it's not something else.

Also, it's like the shifter doesn't go up as much (into 3rd) as it should. When I was at a stoplight, I went through the gears a few times, and it seemed to go into 3rd deeper than before. Kind of like when you can tell it's not completely in 1st, and you move the shifter around and it goes into 1st fully.

Any ideas? Adjusting the clutch? Be more diligent with shifting gears? Lift up the boot to make sure there isn't anything in the way?
