New 244 prospect... 200

I came across a local ad for a 1990 240 sedan with a true 5 speed. The seller listed a few details...

1) Light knocking
2) Oil leak (unsure where)
3) Odometer stopped at 145k
4) Tags good till 2011
5) Broken rear driver's side window

$700 OBO. I was thinking of showing up with only 500 or 600 cash on hand... I figure the 5-speed is too good to pass up.

What do the minds of brickboard think? Stay away from the knocking oil leak, no matter how badly you want a 5-speed in your 1992 245??
