How to replace AC compressor on 960 900

You don't necessarily need a new drier/receiver/accumulator. It depends on how long the system had been open to the atmosphere. Inside the d/r/a is a desicant bang that only needs to be replaced if it has absorbed enough moisture so that it is no longer of any use.

You vehicle has a orifice valve and not an expansion valve per se. If you search for other A/C related threads on both the 900 and S/V90 forums in just the last week you will find many threads including one that has picture of the location of the orifice valve on the passenger's side frame rail.

Any R134a compatible O-rings will work, I advise lubing them with PAG oil before installation. A dry O-ring can easily be damaged. PAG oil is available most everywhere refrigerant is sold.
