HS6 or HIF6? 140-160

I'm gathering bit and pieces for converting my far from pristine 142E to carburetors. (I've gone over my reasons for doing this before, so I won't bother you with that story again.)

I have to make a choice between HS6s and HIF6s. Both types are available for pulling at the same location. Both are on the later-type integral cast iron manifolds with the secondary butterflies, which I will remove, and both are on what I presume to be B-18s, so I'll have to get some KN or DX needles for them.

I'm leaning towards taking the HS6s, mostly because I'm familiar with them - I have them on a couple of other engines - but before I brave the mosquitoes and blackberry brambles and skin my knuckles, I'd like to know if there is any advantage, performance or otherwise, to one type over the other.

Thanks,

Bob S.
