Oil leaking from the fuel pump... is a sure sign of pressurized crankcase! NT 120-130 1966

Hello,

We have experienced many mechanical fuel pumps leaking oil with warped mounting flanges, usually from over-tightening on B18/20/30 engines.

If the flange is not too badly warped, resealing with new gaskets and new spacer(if necessary) with a healthy coating of an oil resistant silicone like "The Right Stuff" to all sealing surfaces will solve a leaking flange.

You still need to take care not to over-tighten the 2 bolts.
