Struts & Shocks - Different Makers 900

Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

Hope you're well. When replacing struts and shocks must front and back pairs come from the same maker? (I would only replace these items in identical pairs, i.e., I would not use one Volvo strut and one Bilstein strut).

If one uses Volvo strut cartridges in front and KYB Gas-Adjust (rear) shocks will handling be different - better or worse - than if one used only Volvo or only KYB products?

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yours faithfully,

Spook
