245 roof insulation ?? 200

I am about to embark on insulating the roof of my 245, and have the reflectix material and spray adhesive in hand, but am wondering, for those that did this before, if you feel a 1/2 or 1 inch thick sheet of styrofoam (found at Home Depot or Lowes) would do a better job? Noise isn't much of an issue, but I'm in Arizona so heat is what I'm looking to beat as best I can.

I ask because I've seen a few references in older posts saying a different material may have been better ...

Thanks,

Jeff
