Coolant changeout 200

On the passenger side of the cylinder block there is a brass drain valve near the back of the block. Remove the cap from the reservoir tank, and loosen the smaller hex nipple with a wrench. Use a hose that fits on the nipple to direct the fluid into a bucket.

This is the only way to truly drain the B230F coolant system without flushing it. Removing the lower rad hose will NOT drain the block... where the block drain will.

jorrell
ps. The drain valve is not always easy to get to from top or bottom but well worth the effort.
