Fan Clutch/Fan 1800 1973

Do I have the correct part but wrong fan or the wrong part?

I picked up a replacement fan clutch from a local part store but by the time I got the old one off I realized my fan would not fix. The 73 green manual refers to to a 6 bladed fan blade but the one on this one has 5.

So I am wondering if perhaps the fan assembly was replaced with another type over the years? It is that or more likely that they cross referenced the wrong part.

It has been awhile since I last posted - took my last project apart and slowly getting it back together when I saw the ES - a good driver.
