Volvos in movies comes up repeatedly here. IMCDB allows search by movie title; car make/ model/ type; more. You can list eg. all movies with 245s.

It is less useful for esoterics eg. figuring out the car driven by Vena in 2 episodes of "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger" (1954) required a lot of trial and error (grab the image, try various sites) until I I happened on a site specializing in 1950s fiberglass cars. It's a Woodhill Wildfire.
