SoCal 122s For Sale 120-130

Hi guys - I decided to lay low on selling these here. I didn't want to abuse the spirit of the forum by talking about potentially selling the cars. I actually had a chance to talk to a couple of folks here about the cars, thanks for everyone's patience. Between my work schedule and really wanting the shell to end up back on the road it was probably a bit frustrating waiting to hear back.

I am VERY happy to say that a fellow Brickboard'er is the new owner of the 1967 122s. I'm delivering her to NorCal this week - but will let the new owner step forward is he/she decides to.

As was pointed out, I'm a total sucker for interesting old cars and needed to juggle the fleet a bit. I recently picked up TR4A IRS, a pre-SMOG X1/9, black plate TR4a and the Capri race car. I was expecting to sell both 122s, but just couldn't do it. I couldn't see myself without one. So I guess I'm hooked. I need to finish a TR6 and TR4A IRS build, but after than the Volvo will be getting some attention. I reserve the right to pick at her a bit to move things along however :-)

Any yes, buying them is the easy part.

The TR4A IRS is going back together. Fortunately she has original paint still, and while needing attention, I can't mess around with her too much without ruining her.

The Capri is an actual race car from the late 70's and early 80's, totally built. Rough around the edges, as a lived in race car should be, or at least a low dollar one anyway. I just finished getting her road legal so she's good for now. If you haven't driven a healthy one of these track one down - they are a total hoot.

Here is the X1/9, I scored a 1500 engine and 5 speed so those are getting rebuild while I sort everything else out. She's actually very solid, long term SoCal car too. Was in the process of being converted to a race car so I'm going to leave as much lightness in as possible.

This TR4A came out of the blue, how often does a 60k mile black plate TR4A with O/D show up on Craigslist 5 minutes away? No engine but as it turns out I have a spare.

Anyway, enough from me for now, bit since you kind of asked I thought I'd lay the madness out...
