coolant loss - head gasket ? 200 1987

1987 240 with aprox. 135,000 miles. I have to add coolant every 25 miles or so. I add difference between max. and min. lines on overflow bottle(when cold). Can see no leaks anywhere except for engine which is wet toward rear under intake manifold runners 3&4. Thus I think I have leaking head gasket. Will it only get worse ? Do any of these gasket sealer stop leak products actually work ? If so which one(s) ? I really really do not want to have to replace head gasket. Have never done this job and it sure looks to be a pain too. Thanks.
