P0560 code and alternator voltage regulator 900

I have a 97 Volvo 960. A few days ago, the "Check Engine" light is on. Then soon after, the "ABS" light is also on. I checked trouble code thru ODB port and got the "P0560" error code for "System Voltage Malfunction". After some research on the internet, I believe the cause for this error is a faulty alternator voltage regulator. Today, I bought a new voltage regulator and installed it in the alternator. Now both Check Engine and ABS lights are off. And the P0560 code also disappeared. Seems like the problem is fixed.
