White Band Crank Position Sensor 200

I have noticed several CPS with the white band that have failed insulation. This was on my 93 240, that replaced 3 1/2 years ago. I need to replace one with a white band on a 91 240 that was replaced about 6 years ago.

We have heard the yellow band CPS has bad insulation but it appears the same is true for the white band CPS. I guess I need to look at all of them again and keep an eye out for failing insulation.
