Simon's simply exhausted 120-130

With some difficulty I have managed to install a new Simon's Sport Exhaust into my '62 amazon 2 dr. The difficulties arose for these reasons 1. No instructions, only really required when orienting the "over the axle pipe" in the right direction. Would be helpful if one knew which end is which. 2. Central portion is smack up against the floor pan on the passenger side (right). Can't seem to resolve that, any ideas? 3. It came with a heavy circular hanger, I don't seem to need it. What's it for? 3. Cheesy strap hanger with a little square washer. I didn't use these, way flimsy looking, but fabricated a much sturdier one from some truck tire tread (bias ply). 4 Finally, This car has a rear anti sway bar with one of it's parts (hanger bolt from body to axle) only adding to the frustration.

After IPD was no help at all, I decided to call Eric Hamlet to see what he thought. He said he had little experience with Simon's, but did suggest I re-consider how I was snaking the pipe around the anti sway bar. This was enormously helpful. So Thanks for that. Further while we were talking the problem over he said, not exact quotes and edited, but something like, "don't see many '62's around". I said, jokingly " Well you may have seen this one 'cause it came from your neck o the wood"(Ca). Belonged to an actor who lived out there but moved here (Ct)" Oh yeah, who?" "Really? Want to know more about it?" Seems Eric took care of it in the late 90's onward till it came out here, and still has the repair history. Weird.
