SU Carb Boil over 444-544

Hi Folks, I just got back from Kalamazoo and we had a great time. The car ran fine and never overheated, but it would let go a burst of fuel from the the fuel inlet to the carbs after it had been off for a few minutes. A victim of heat soak I presume. This has happened twice that I have seen. No leaks in that line afterwards. I do have the heat shield installed. This is a B20 with HS6s. Timing and synchronization were done before the trip. I am concerned that it is a fine mist of fuel there at the exhaust manifold and it only happens when it is hot.
Someone suggested phenolic spacers and I thought about getting some woven fabric heat shield for the last 12" or so of the fuel line. Any Thoughts?
