Speedo Repair 1990 745T 700

Hey Guys,
Jay here. I'm a bit stumped about a speedo problem. I've owned the car for a couple years and it has never registered over 45 MPH. So, I've replaced with new Volvo parts the wiring harness for the diff sensor, wires were corroded. I opened the dash and found the leaking capacitors and had them replaced. Still only reads 45 MPH. So, I'm thinking a damaged path on the board or a bad ground. What are the locations of the grounds for the speedo system? Didn't turn up anything when I searched the material here as far as locations. I'm thinking about mailing off the speedo to a repair shop and wondered if they can fix a bad path? Or should I pick up one from a breaker yard?
Any help would be great...

Thanks

Jay
