air conditioning oriface tube location? 900 1994

got a new oriface tube to put in my car and was told its location was in the small tube leading into the firewall, removed fitting and metal hose and used flashliight to see in tube going into fire wall and can't see anything, took one of my parts cars tube apart and same thing? is it buried deep in there that u can't see it or is it some other location?
