Flashing arrow on dash 900 1995

Hello everyone. I just bought my first Volvo. A 1995 960 sedan, automatic , 150k.
My first order of business was to replace the ignition switch. Thanks to this forum I diagnosed the problem and did the repair. I disconnected the battery before I did the job as recommended. Changed the switch, reconnected the battery and everything worked fine...almost. Now I have a blinking arrow on the dash along with the transmission mode selector indicators blinking. Any ideas? Is there something I have to reset after removing the battery?
I'm looking forward to driving this car for a long time. I just hope the electronics don't scare me off.

Thanks, Louie
