84 245 Trans speedo drive gear swap 200

I intend to put Virgo/Turbo wheels and 195/60/15 tires on an 84 DL non-turbo wagon.

I understand that the DL (and GL?) wagons alone came with taller tires than sedans, so they had a different speedometer set up. The Turbo sedans and wagons both had very close to the same tire diameter as a DL sedan, right?

To retain speedometer accuracy, in this car, with the new wheels, can I simply go to the salvage yard and get a cable speedo drive gear out of a sedan w/auto trans? Would the plastic gear have one more tooth in a sedan, I'm guessing?

Thanks,
Steve
