The IPD transmission flush method should work for non-bricks? 200

The manual specifically says; If you are in a bind you can use dexron 3 BUT make sure at your earliest convenince to do a complete flush with their proprietary stuff. Not sure if it's a scare tactic to pay 2X what the Dexron costs but for a guy who keeps his cars for 300K + miles.. I think I will listen and not play games.
I know the majority of fluid stays in the Convertor but Honda states to just dump it from the Pan every 30K.. I'll do it every 25K and hope I'm making the trani a bit happier then 90% of the CRV out there that will never see an oil change.

Just sold my '91 Explorer for this CRV. My wife hates it so far and want the Explorer back. Exploder hate 336K miles when I sold it. I wasn't in the Market at all but the CRV came along for a ridiculously good price.. So I rotated out the SUV for this SUV. WOW, I'm an owner of a car that is OBD2 now.
