The IPD transmission flush method should work for non-bricks? 200

The ATF thing is real frustrating. The folks on the Honda forums say that shifts are smoother with the Honda fluids. Hard to say what that really means, though.

I sucked it up and filled the mom-in-law mobile up with the Honda stuff.... which was definitely pricey at the local dealer. Of course, I also paid $20 for one of the hoses between the trans and radiator.

I think there are some online places selling Honda parts cheaper... if you can find the Honda stuff for close to the same price as Dexron, there's no foul I suppose?

The CR-V's aren't awful. What they lack in character, they more than make up for in fuel economy, IMHO.
