Just bought Low Power 900 1993

Starts and runs great. When pulling out from a stop, the engine has no power. You would think it weighed 100000 lbs. Once up to highway speed it runs great, until you go up a hill, then it just looses power.Automatic trans, Regina fuel system, no engine miss, tranny upshifts and down shifts fine. RPM's seem o.k.. I've only had car a few days haven't found a good manual yet. I have good vacum to map sensor. How can I tell if someone has swapped motor and possibly put a turbo engine without a turbo in this car?
